Little appears to be definitively known about Mistella pipes. Decades ago, there was a popular calabash rendition made by the brand, though there have also been other Mistella lines, such as this one. Judging by the name and the style of rustication, I would have to imagine that it’s an Italian make, possibly a sub-brand for one of the more well-known companies. Whatever the case, this one should make for a good workhorse.
