Kit to adapt 6 speed MT82 Getrag manual transmission (as fitted to 2007-on Puma Defender) to the Land Rover 300Tdi Engine This kit comprises of a 32mm thick adaptor plate to adapt the 6 speed gearbox to the 300Tdi cylinder block. A new starter motor, spigot bearing and flywheel are supplied in this kit. The modified flywheel will accept the standard clutch as used in the 2007-on Defender Tdci (clutch not included in kit). The MT82 ratios are: 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th 5.443:1 2.839:1 1.721:1 1.223:1 1:1 0.742:1 Full fitting instructions included. Fitting note – When this kit is fitted with the MT82 instead of the R380 in a 300 Tdi Defender the transfer box is 55mm further back than the standard 300Tdi installation. This puts the transfer box in the same position as the Tdci Defender. Optional extras (please select below if required): Kit 215A Gearbox Mounting Brackets – Mounting bracket kit for MT82 6 speed transmission when fitting into a 300Tdi Defender in conjunction with Kit 215 (300tdi to MT82 adaption). This kit is used when a MT82 gearbox is fitted to a 300Tdi Engine in a 300Tdi base Defender. These brackets bolt to the MT82 gearbox and the rubbers will then sit on the 300Tdi gearbox mounting slots on the centre crossmember. Full fitting instructions included. Kit 215B Engine Mounting Feet – A pair of engine mounting brackets to fit a 300Tdi Engine into a Puma/Tdci Defender. These bolt to the 300Tdi cylinder block and will allow the engine to sit directly onto the standard Puma/ Tdci engine chassis brackets and rubbers when used in conjunction with our Kit 215 adaption – No welding required. Note: these are designed to be used in conjunction with our 215 adaptor when the standard Puma/ Tdci MT82 6-speed transmission is utilised. With these brackets, the engine sits close to near a normal 30oTdi engine location, so all the standard 300Tdi plumbing pipework will fit with ease. Manufacturer: MD Engineering. In stock
